I am a student athlete on the University of Hawaii Track & Field Team, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The sun shines bright here, and don’t get me wrong, it’s wonderful! I get to train year round in the warm sunshine with birds chirping and palm trees swaying. But there has tended to be a whole lot of squinting in my life, and I don’t want wrinkles! I have been trying to find a good pair of sunglasses for a while. But honestly, they never seem to fit my face right, they fall off of my face while I’m training, and they break after a few months. Gatorz eyewear is by far the best quality pair of sunglasses that I have ever owned. As soon as I opened my Gatorz eyewear I was impressed. The packaging is sleek and I didn’t even want to throw the box away! I even loved that my glasses came with a microfiber bag to keep my glasses clean in whatever bag I may toss them in.

When I first tried them on, I wasn’t sure about the fit. I soon discovered that they were completely adjustable. You heard that right, I was able to custom fit both the nose pad and the temples of the sunglasses to fit me perfectly. I was no longer pushing my glasses up on my nose after each throw that involves fast and sometimes violent rotations, or getting sore spots above my ears from the glasses being too tight.
Unobstructed Field of View
The most unexpected thing that I loved about my glasses was the wide field of vision. Maybe I’m weird, but most glasses make me feel sort of claustrophobic. The frames block some of my peripheral vision and I just want to toss them off of my face. I would honestly rather squint into the sun than not be able to see some areas of my peripheral vision.
My Gatorz were a completely different experience though and I could see everything. My Gatorz didn’t leave me with the usual sudden urges to rip the glasses off of my face in annoyance. Just complete, comfortable coverage.
