LifeLite MOBILE Launcher from PepperBall gives you Solutions

The LifeLite MOBILE Launcher from PepperBall is a device that shoots PAVA powder filled balls and has an unassuming appearance as a flashlight with a lanyard.

Using the LifeLite MOBILE delivers a surprising punch from the CO2 cartridge and creates a cloud of PAVA (PAVA stands for “PV” pelargonic acid vanilylamide, discovered in 199, “VP” is a purified natural compound found in pepper plants and is as hot as Capsaicin but can be extracted from other naturally occurring sources) around the area impacted.  The PAVA projectiles are a non-lethal pepper irritant that is designed to incapacitate an attacker from as far as 40 feet away!  PAVA is the same product law enforcement uses through various launchers to incapacitate attackers and for crowd dispersal.  The PAVA projectile doesn’t have to have direct impact to be effective but having that impact occur can absolutely help!

Hitting what you are aiming at was relatively easy with the built-in laser aiming device.  Bright daylight made it a bit of a challenge to find the laser and maybe future generations of this device could add a way to mechanically aim it or maybe even add a green laser for higher visibility.

Going for a stroll at night with the LifeLite Launcher you would be very unassuming to carry it without any attempt at concealing it.  It looks like and functions as a flashlight with lanyard.  The 350 lumen LED flashlight looks like that is all this is.

The LifeLite Launcher is heavy-duty feeling and seems very durable.  The PAVA cartridges are powered by compressed air, and we didn’t perceive much if any recoil while operating it.  It was simple as sliding the switch on, aiming with the laser, and depressing the trigger.  While testing, we noted that the trigger button is a toggle and not a straight down press which created quite the surprise for our role-player when she hesitated on the launch, tilted her hand up to look and launched the ball to the face of her attacker!  It all worked out okay though as she had two more shots she could take, and he was wearing safety glasses. 😉

Loading the LifeLite Launcher with CO2, batteries, and the actual PepperBall’s was easy.  Having the training PepperBall’s and extra CO2 was essential for safe use of this device in the real-world.  If you are going to carry the LifeLite Launcher for personal self-defense, you NEED to practice with it and gain confidence in it.

PepperBall is a trusted and proven leader in non-lethal personal defense design and application.  Over 10,000 law enforcement and government agencies worldwide trust PepperBall.  They are confident in this product and offer a one-year warranty on it.

I believe the PepperBall LifeLite MOBILE is a great addition to your self-defense needs and is a great product to help protect your students, your coworkers, your family, maybe your congregation, your home and definitely yourself.  It does not replace the need for lethal tools when presented with a lethal threat but sometimes those tools aren’t available or legal to be carried in some environments or locations.  The PepperBall LifeLite MOBILE helps fill that gap and does it well.
