The LifeLite Launcher is heavy-duty feeling and seems very durable. The PAVA cartridges are powered by compressed air, and we didn’t perceive much if any recoil while operating it. It was simple as sliding the switch on, aiming with the laser, and depressing the trigger. While testing, we noted that the trigger button is a toggle and not a straight down press which created quite the surprise for our role-player when she hesitated on the launch, tilted her hand up to look and launched the ball to the face of her attacker! It all worked out okay though as she had two more shots she could take, and he was wearing safety glasses. 😉
Loading the LifeLite Launcher with CO2, batteries, and the actual PepperBall’s was easy. Having the training PepperBall’s and extra CO2 was essential for safe use of this device in the real-world.
