Lee Armory’s Romanian Military Classic AKM: Rugged Quality
Lee Armory and Legendary AKM Manufacture M+M Industries (M10X Rifles) have teamed up to provide a cost effective AK Style Rifle. the Romanian Military Classic AKM is manufactured from current Forged Military Production Parts. Each rifle 
contains hand pressed Russian Spec Rivets and a Romanian Military Cold Hammer Forged Barrel.
Cerakote work is done by We Plead The 2nd and custom colors are available. These guns feature XTech MAG47 Magazines and Tango Down Grips for compliance. My favorite is the military classic, but Lee Armory has several variations of Romanian Military AK Rifles in several configurations to fit your needs!
I got to shoot several of the Lee Armory AKs at the Anteris Alliance Range Day. They had nice triggers (no slap) and functioned…well like AKs, perfectly. I even tried the full auto model, again, boring consistent reliability. The fit and finish is much nicer than the original Communist models and Lee Armory even refinishes the wood or goes polymer.
If you want to build a kit of your own, Lee Armory offers one and two day build classes that can coach you from zero to AK in a weekend. They can provide Parts Kits and as much help as you want. They will even cerakote it when you finish. That is a pretty nice graduation present.
