Woosh Sights™ from Mansfield Munitions, LLC

WOOSH Sights™ is a patented new product for the accurate shooting of handguns and rifles.  They profess being easier to learn, more precise, and quicker to acquire.

They have recently begun production of their innovative open gun sights called WOOSH Sights™ and are producing models for Glock 17, Glock 19 and back up iron sights for rifles.

Sighting systems can be old school and boring, exotic, complicated, minimalist, etc.  WOOSH™ stands out in its innovative design to work with a variety of eye strengths, to help people understand what they are aligning, and to make sight alignment rapid from zero to 100 yards.

One of the biggest pleasant surprises I found with the WOOSH Sights™ was the ability to hand a pistol equipped with the WOOSH Sights™ and have them have that “aha” moment with what the proper sight alignment to sight picture should look like.

Aiming a pistol and pressing the trigger are the two most important fundamentals of marksmanship.  Not everyone “gets it,” when it comes to applying sight picture and sight alignment.  Using my Glock pistol set-up with the WOOSH Sights™, I was able to take a new shooter that was struggling through normal means of teaching what it would look like and have the concept understood immediately.

Using the WOOSH Sights™ on the range, I found myself able to keep the circles aligned and rapidly engage multiple steel reactive targets with both eyes open and not have to make an effort to focus on the front sight like I normally would.  They are tough, light, and fast.  I engaged a steel silhouette at over a hundred yards and was able to consistently hit the target using the WOOSH Sights™ on my pistol, these sights work!

The WOOSH Sights™ are easy to use.  Start with lining up the front sight on the target.  You’ll notice the vertical yellow line that marks the center of the front sight.  Next, bring the rear sight into place with the front sight to form a complete picture of two rings.  Complete the alignment so that the rings are picture perfect and the center line mark on the front of the sight touches your point of aim.  You’re ready to press the trigger straight and to the rear without deviating the sight picture for an amazing shot.

These sights will work for just about anyone, but I really see these sights as being a great option for new shooters, shooters that are struggling with their vision, and persons wanting to shoot with both eyes open without a red dot sight system.

If you think these sights are what you’ve been needing to try, go to www.2dotsights.com and email the maker to coordinate payment and shipping.  They’re new to the business and do not offer traditional on-line sales yet.
