When you Find a Gun, Get some Training

Some chaos in our world right now.

Even the gun sales statistics look like a dumpster fire for 2020 when you look at the charts made, it looks like flames with numbers shooting up!

“The number of gun purchases in 2020 reflected by an FBI National Instant Criminal Background System (NICS) check as of Sept. 1 exceeds those processed for the entire year of 2019.”

The bigger deal for this is that the majority of these new sales are to 1st time gun buyers! Not only does this make the limited supply of firearms on the shelves understandable but it also explains the serious shortage of ammunition for popular calibers of firearms.

So, a couple of things to take away from all of this.

1st of all, don’t wait until pandemics, defunding of the police, and rioting across our great free country to go and buy a firearm and the ammunition you need to go with it or you’ll find yourself looking at bare shelves and inflated prices.

2nd of all, you need to get quality training! Owning it doesn’t protect you or the ones you love.

Just because I bought a computer doesn’t mean that I understand how to run it to its full potential. Just because I buy a hunting license doesn’t mean I know how to go after big-game and process it correctly. Just because you buy a gun it doesn’t make you ready to handle it, load it, aim it, and accurately hit a target much less know when to actually use this incredible tool of last resort!

With all this being said….. get a GUN, AMMO up, know how to use your gun PROPERLY, and commit to spending more time and money on ammunition and training than you did on the gun itself. Be hard to kill.

All pandemics, riots, defunding of the police aside… there comes a point in your life that having the ability to defend yourself isn’t as easy as getting into a fist fight and you need some teeth…. some false teeth so to speak via the gun.

If you are in the SW Washington area where we are located, schedule some training with us today. If you’re not in our area, seek training out from reputable firearms trainers that can take you to your next level or at least make your gun handling skills better than that of the person picking up a gun like a dirty diaper.
