Sig Sauer Romeo 5: Best $99 Optic on the Market?
Today’s red dot optic market is all about delivering the best prices on an optic to the consumer while not compromising quality. This weekend it seems that optics giant Primary Arms decided to run a 24 hour special on the Sig Sauer Romeo 5 Red Dot at nearly 1/2 of the normal retail price. Yep a brand new Sig Sauer Romeo 5 for $99.00 with shipping covered. That’s a really hard deal to pass up, even if you happen to already have a full compliment of red dots like we do.
We haven’t taken a look at the Romeo 5 in a while but at $99.00 we decided to crack the piggy bank and grab one. When you combine a 5 year warranty, the 40,000 our battery life using one CR2023 battery with a 1 meter water resistance and mix in a high mount along with simple controls all for under $100.00 it’s a really hard thing to not take advantage of
Testing and Ideas
We are working with a few companies on a future build project and we already decided this optic will be on it, no doubt about it. The company we are working with is suppose to ship us products this week so the Romeo 5 will be on the shelf for a little while, but have no fear it will be mounted and put through it’s paces soon.
We want to know if you had to choose an optic for under $150.00 what would you pick and why ? Let’s hear some of those opinions. Sig, Holosun, Primary Arms, Vortex ?
