Saddle Up with Crimson Trace Lasersaddle™

Crimson Trace Lasersaddle™ red laser sights and green laser sights are currently available for Mossberg® 500, 590 and Shockwave™ 12 gauge shotguns.

Firearm (not a shotgun) targeting re-imagined

As discussed by Mark Miller in a previous article, the “other firearm” classified firearms such as the Shockwave can be a challenge to aim with.  He and I played around with a couple of different laser aiming options and found that they were an excellent addition to the firearm, allowing them to go from just a hip fired close-quarters firearm to an accurate engaging tool beyond 15 yards.

Although we found some great options, nothing we found was as specialized and form fitting as the Crimson Trace Lasersaddle™ that I got to play with today at the SHOT Show 2019 Range Day event.

The first thing I noticed was that I didn’t even notice it at first!  It blends in exceptionally with the firearm and even gives it a neat Star Wars type appearance you would expect on a blaster.

With intuitive hand activation placement, it blends in seamlessly and works great.  I found a preference for the little bit more expensive green laser but the red worked just fine as well.

If you’re considering a Mossberg® 500, 590 and Shockwave™ 12 gauge shotgun for purchase, consider adding the Crimson Trace Lasersaddle™ to your purchase.

Crimson Trace has been a leader in the lasers-for-firearms field for a long time now.  I’ve had a set of the laser grips on my old S&W J-frame revolver for about 23 years now and it still works great.

Don’t forget to ask about the Free Batteries For Life program that now includes nearly all products.

MSRP $169 in red, $219 in green.
