GSL’s 9mm Stealth Suppressor: Rifle, Carbines, Subguns and Pistols

GSL’s 9mm Stealth suppressor has a modular design which mounts on an interchangeable adapters. You can select a piston core for handguns or one of five adapters for your favorite mounting system. This will support any 9mm rifle, pistol caliber carbine, subgun or pistol.

GSL promises a silencer as good as or better than anything on the market at a lower cost. The Stealth is so versatile, it is the only 9mm can you will need for any application.

  • Caliber: 9mm
  • Sound Reduction: 34 dB
  • Length: 6.875”
  • Diameter: 1.375″
  • Weight: 7.2 oz.
  • Materials: Aluminum
  • Finish: Hard Coat Anodized
  • Mounts:
    • Each Stealth includes a Direct Thread Piston 1/2-28
    • Optional Piston (Purchased Separately): 13.5x1mm LH

The noise reduction of 34db is substantial. The perceived noise is hard to describe effectively, but has a low tone which reduces the sharp snap of the report. It is well balanced and light.

The perfect handgun host for the Stealth 9mm Suppressor is the P320 RX Full-Size. This modular striker-fired pistol comes with SIGLITE Night Sights suppressor height sights and a slide-mounted ROMEO1 reflex optic installed and zeroed.

The P320 offers a great trigger, an intuitive, 3-point take down and unmatched modularity. The full-size frame is ideal host for a suppressor. This modular, striker-fired pistol features a full-size grip and full length slide

The ROMEO1, is high enough to see over the Stealth and provides faster target acquisition and improved accuracy.  The ROMEO1 features a molded glass aspheric lens with high performance coatings for superior light transmittance and zero distortion. Manual illumination controls remember the last used settings.

Three MOA Red-Dot with multiple intensity settings ensures rapid target engagement under a full range of lighting conditions. Extremely strong and lightweight aircraft grade CNC Magnesium housing ensuring a lifetime of reliable service.

The Stealth moves quickly between roles. In this photo, the piston core is attached to the barrel and the suppressor body is separated.

I used SIG Sauer’s line of M17 9mm +P ammunition for my initial testing. M17 ammo is currently available loaded in ballistically matched FMJ or V-Crown JHP projectiles. Both of the 124 grain projectiles ran well in the 320 and the QC5.

The suppressor body can be easily attached to any of the adapters. This Quarter Circle 10 QC5 9mm pistol has a 3 lug HK mount. Using the adapter, the suppressor is quick attach and quick release, even when it is hot.

Here is the suppressor body separated from the adapter.

The QC5 is another great host for a suppressor. The MP5 magazines feed reliability and provide a nice mass to balance between magazine well and fore grip. I used a barrel with an HK three lug adapter. It snaps on and off easily yet cannot shoot lose, even in rapid fire. I did not see any zero shift with the Stealth installed. It proved reliable with a variety of ammunition.

There are many reasons people own and use silencers (as the BATFE calls them). They makes the weapon hearing safe, can make your shooting discreet, and offers tactical advantages in some cases. This is also a great training tool for new shooters.

The Stealth can fill any role and provides the ultimate in 9mm flexibility for a single tax stamp. Each silencer is an NFA device and must be registered with BATFE with a $200 tax stamp. If you are interested in silencers, find out if they are legal in your state and then locate a dealer. There is paperwork, but it has never been easier to buy one.

Many law enforcement agencies have added OSHA approved sound reduction devices to their carbines. They are tired of paying out disability claims for hearing loss. You can shoot with the same level of comfort and safety.

The Stealth is the first GSL suppressor I owned, but it will not be the last. Value is a combination of quality, performance and price. The Stealth does not disappoint. If you are seeking a 9mm can, you need look no farther.

About GSL Technology:

For over 30 years GSL has continued to lead the charge on product design, engineering, and patents – all while continuing to manufacture high-end suppression devices for the industry at large.

Since 1985, GSL has designed suppressed weapons systems that are used by wide range of local, state and federal Law Enforcement and Government agencies and designed advanced systems to ensure their safety and protect their hearing.

GSL Technology has fifteen models covering almost every host combination available, including quick disconnect mounting systems, user serviceable configurations and fully automatic rated models.

Greg Latka is the founder and owner of GSL Technology. A master machinist for over 50 years, Greg started out building aerospace equipment making parts for missiles and spacecraft. In 1985 he became interested in suppressors.

Greg received his first suppressor design patent in the early 1990s for the Helical Suppressor and was featured on the cover of Machine Gun News. Shortly there after he was hired by Gemtech and became president a couple of years later remaining in that role for 22 years, and was also the lead designer and engineer. GSL built all of Gemtech’s silencers from 1995 to 2005, and most of them until recently.

Greg has numerous patents for various products and designs. He is a true pioneer and innovator in the world of suppressor technology having designed and developed over 66 suppressors for the military, law enforcement, and civilian markets. After Gemtech was purchased by Smith & Wesson, Greg separated and began building cans in his Michigan facility.

GSL Technology manufactures all of their products in a 25,000 square foot machine shop in Michigan with state-of-the-art CNC machines. GSL Technology is one of a few manufacturers in the industry that are certified ISO 9001.
