Fits Like a Glove: Streamlight’s 500 Lumen TLR-7 A
Streamlight’s new TLR-7 A includes two ambidexterous ergonomic switches (one low and one high position) to precisely match your hand placement. The low-profile design prevents snagging and the “safe off” feature prevents accidental activation, saving batteries.
The size perfectly matches this compact Poly80 build with LoneWolf parts. The challenge with lights is getting the switch where you can reach it. The TLR-7 A doubles your chances by including two tail cap switches. The high switch is mounted on my gun and puts the controls right at my fingers.
The TLR-7 A offers two lighting modes, LED only or LED strobe. Each mode delivers a run time of 1.5 hours. A single 3 Volt CR2 lithium battery powers the light. Constructed of 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish, the TLR-7 A weighs 2.4 ounces. Meanwhile, it measures 2.58 inches in length. The unit boasts extensive live-fire testing and impact-resistant construction. With it IPX7 rated design, the light remains waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
